I was one of the organisers of “Baila beats 2011” where Mystery performed. When it came to organising “Baila Beats 2012”, we didn’t have to think twice about which band we wanted, Mystery are THAT good! The striking factor about Mystery is, when it comes to Baila they know exactly what the crowd want to hear. Not only do they perform at a highly professional level, their crowd interaction is simply outstanding. The way they got the crowd going in both years was just spectacular! They KNOW what true PURE baila is, that’s what sets them out from other bands. After both years, I was approached by many of the guests stating to me how much they enjoyed the band. But Mystery is not a one genre band by any means, they have many strings to their bow and can perform lounge music, English songs, they are the complete band. If you’re thinking about hiring a band, I highly recommend Mystery. I know who I’ll be calling when “Baila Beats 2013” comes around, it’s a no brainer!
— Lahiru Silva Organiser of "Baila Beats" by CCC Foundation

— Lambert Fernando President, Kelaniya University Alumni Association/Australia

‘Baila Beats’ has been running for two consecutive years and “Mystery” has always provided the Baila for the event. For both years they managed to draw the entire crowd to the dance floor, kept them there until the night was over and left them sweaty and satisfied. Each event, we have brought in big crowds of up to 300 and although they come for the charity, they stay for Mystery. As long as we organise Baila Beats, we will continue to hire Mystery because on a predictable basis, they will keep everyone entertained and ultimately help us produce a successful event
— Gihan Jayaweera Organiser of "Baila Beats" by CCC Foundation

The Colombo University Alumni Association of Victoria was delighted to have Mystery play at our Annual Dinner dance held on 15th September 2012. Members, their family and friends of all generations attended the ball. The dynamic young talents of Mystery, and their selection of songs varying from slow rhythmic music to great baila beats on the night attracted the entire crowd to the dance floor. People were singing along and dancing to their tunes and had a wonderful time
— Senake Perera Organisers of Colombo University

Mystery is a band not in mist, it has a clear mix of fresh vocals and the sound of the instruments bring you to the end of finding a better Sri Lankan dance band in Australia for any event. Young talents steer this band to a different direction of Sri Lankan music in Melbourne. Their sessions are exceptionally grouped into form a slow rhythmic music to great baila beats, with English hits and ranging from our historical and present Sri Lankan music.

The dancefloor was full of people who were listening, singing along and dancing to their tunes. In our time, good music is not possible without latest technologies in the world. That is one of the grand powers they have in delivering at highest scale in any event. Their technologies serve very true sound experiences, from front to back with uniformly quiet tones. Collection of fresh and rich vocals bring the pleasure to listeners not to take their ears away.

All above were real life experiences of all our members and the participants in the Viru Daru Diriya Night in 2011 who highly praised the music that paved an extremely successful night
— Hector Jayantha Vice President of Viru Daru Diriya Fund
